Resolved vs Reopened

The gadget used for this report is Performance Trend gadget.

Step 1: Add two data sources:

  • Data source A: Filter Resolved Issues from the project and time period you wish to analyze.

  • Data Source B: Duplicate Data Source A to apply the same filters. Add a JQL query status was in (Reopened) to filter only the issues that were reopened from all those resolved during the selected time period.

Step 2: Keep the default metric selection ‘Number of issues’.

Step 3: For Display by, select ‘Resolved’ field and specify date granularity. In our sample, it is by Week.

Step 4: For Group by, select the Data Source/s option.
